DUMMERSTON SCHOOL —VT
Kindergarten and 1st grade authors collaborated with the 6th and 7th grade students who illustrated the stories. Each of the Kindergarten and 1st grade students received a coloring book from the story they created.
MARION CROSS SCHOOL —VT
The 1st graders wrote group stories.
NORRIS SCHOOL —MA
Each class chose an African folktale and then wrote their own version of it. Some stayed close to the original while others took every opportunity to introduce their own details. The students performed the stories for their parents and made coloring books as well.
SANDERSON ACADEMY —MA
The Kindergarteners story was illustrated by the 6th grade.
1st graders wrote and illustrated their own group story.
4th graders wrote four different types of Tall Tales. They chose between, Legends, Whoppers, Big Brags and the Crazy Day. Porter from Mrs. McLeod's class wrote a great example of the Crazy Day story shown here.
VERNON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL —VT
The K and 1st grade students wrote group stories with illustrations by the 5th and 6th graders.
SHEFFIELD SCHOOL —MA
These 3rd grade students learned about Interdiction and wrote group stories.

Common School students wrote stories to perform for their families and other classes. The 5/6th grade class told stories throughout the school.

CONWAY GRAMMAR SCHOOL — MA
A STARS residency from MCC allowed me to work with all the grades at Conway Grammar so the PreK, and K wrote group stories illutrated by the older students.1st grade illustrated their own group story.
The 2nd grade wrote Cat-in-the-Hat Stories. 3rd and 4th grade wrote Interdiction Stories. 5th Grade wrote Cinderella Stories and the 6th grade became a Storytelling Troupe, touring through the rest of the school and telling their own adaptations of folktales.
